How do I register my Domain Name with Vox?

Step 1:

Check Domain availability and reach out to our friendly Domains teams at Domains@voxtelecom.co.za to register your domain to Vox

Step 2:

When a customer submits a domain name for registration, Vox first checks if the domain name is available for registration. They verify if the domain is not already registered by someone else and if it meets the technical and policy requirements for registration.

Step 3:

A quote is sent for Electronic or Manual Acceptance and the order then processed.

Step 4:

Provide DNS Information – The customer needs to specify the domain’s DNS settings, including nameservers, A records, MX records, etc. This information is essential for pointing the domain to the appropriate website and email servers.

Step 5:

Update DNS Records – After the domain registration is approved and processed by the registry, the registrar updates the DNS records for the domain, pointing it to the specified nameservers and other settings provided by the customer.

Step 6:

The registrar notifies the customer that the domain registration is successful and provides them with the necessary details, including registration confirmation, DNS information, and any additional services purchased.
